What are the shipping rates for Shibumi products?

At Shibumi we only charge € 4.99 including taxes worldwide, except from € 60, your order will be free of shipping costs. That easy.

What is the estimated delivery date and how is it calculated?

Shibumi's Estimated Delivery Time (EDT) is our prediction of when we might deliver an order to you. The EDT is the sum of the estimated processing time and the shipping time. Basically:

Estimated handling + Estimated shipping = Estimated delivery time

Our average management time is 2 to 5 business days in the case of products that are not clothing items and 2 to 7 business days when it comes to products that are clothing items. When we calculate the estimated handling time , we take into account the current order volume and our capacity.

The estimated delivery time is calculated according to our Historical shipping data on orders shipped to your area or region.

The estimated delivery time is only an estimate, not a guarantee . You can receive the order after the estimated delivery time for various reasons, such as:

  • Problems with printing or embroidery files
  • Products are out of stock
  • Shipment-related delays such as failed delivery attempts, service interruptions

That said, we will do everything in our power to meet our delivery estimates. If it ever happens to you that you have not received the order and its estimated delivery time has already passed, wait a few more days. Are all the items in the orders shipped together?

Some of our products are packed separately to ensure their shape and to provide additional protection and durability. The products that we always send separately are:

  • Cushions
  • Posters
  • Framed posters
  • Canvas

In some cases, there are products of the same order that are processed in different facilities, which means that they will be shipped separately.

Is Shibumi available for all countries?

No, Shibumi is not available in some countries due to legal restrictions or transportation limitations.

At the moment, Shibumi is not available and does not ship to Cuba, Iran, Crimea , Syria or North Korea. This list may change over time.

We are available in all other countries and ship internationally!

What should I do if my estimated delivery time has passed and I still do not receive my order?

If the estimated delivery time has passed and you have not received your order, you have these options:

  1. Wait one or two days . Shipments may be delayed for unpredictable reasons. We know it is frustrating to deal with shipping delays, but don't forget that our estimated delivery time is a mere estimate, not a guarantee .

My order has been sent. Why can't I see the tracking information?

Your order has been shipped, but it may take up to 48 hours for the tracking information to appear in the carrier's tracking system.

Please note that tracking international shipments may take a few days for show updates, although this does not necessarily mean that the package has been lost.

What happens if a package has not been delivered but the tracking says it was delivered?

If the package appears as sent but you have not received anything, Shibumi will not be responsible for the cost of resending the product or returning the money.

There may be cases where the package was delivered but deposited somewhere other than the indicated address. In this case, you must contact the transport company. They may be given additional information such as: "The package is under the porch table."

If you are unable to locate the package, you will have to manually place a new order to have it reshipped. We still cannot help with claims to transport companies but we hope to be able to do so in the future.

How I can keep track of my order?

Once we process your order and deliver it to the carrier, we send you a shipping confirmation email that contains a tracking number. You can click on that number to see the latest updates on the location of your shipment.

Can Shibumi deliver orders to PO Boxes?

Typically, only national postal service operators (such as the United States Postal Service or Canada Post) can deliver orders to PO boxes. Many of our products, such as framed posters or some larger shipments, are too large to be accepted by national postal carriers, so we use commercial companies (such as FedEx) to deliver these products that cannot be delivered in a post office box. We recommend using a physical address instead of a PO box so that the delivery is smooth.

What if I misspelled my shipping address?

As the carrier calculates variable shipping rates primarily based on the postal code entered, it is possible that the package will be shipped, even if an incorrect address is entered.

In some cases, the Local mail can deliver, depending on the error made when entering the recipient's address.

If it is not possible to deliver the package, it will be returned to our center and you will be notified once it has been Returned. You will have to confirm the updated and correct address in less than four weeks, and confirm the changes to resend the package.

What happens if the order is lost during transport?

In the case of packages lost on the way, all claims must always be submitted within 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date . But don't worry, we'll take care of the costs of reprinting and submitting a replacement order for you.

We may ask for your help before we do, such as confirming that the shipping address is the correct. It is also recommended that you contact your local post office to try to locate the lost order.

What if the product is damaged during shipping?

We ask that you send a photo to verify damaged goods to hello@shibumishop.com , and we will gladly send you another new product at no cost.

How are the products packaged to be shipped?

Clothing products are usually packaged in polymer envelopes. If the order contains more than one product, after putting each article in a plastic bag, we place all the articles in a polymer envelope.

The caps are packed in corrugated cardboard boxes.

To pack mobile phone cases , we use Kraft cardboard envelopes. For biodegradable mobile phone cases , we use small cardboard boxes. The jewels are packaged in a black eco-friendly synthetic leather box with magnetic closure and fabric inlays. When shipped, they are also packed in a cardboard box. Sublimation products, such as socks , are packaged in plastic envelopes.

Home decor
Most of sublimation items are shipped in plastic envelopes.
The mugs are packaged in cardboard boxes.
The canvases are also packed in cardboard boxes between 12 × 18 × 2 and 28 × 38 × 6 in. The frames are first wrapped in tissue paper to protect them from possible scratches and then wrapped in a layer of adhesive bubble wrap. Finally, they are wrapped in thicker, more durable bubble wrap that adds an extra layer of protection during shipping.
Posters are shipped in triangular kraft cardboard boxes to ensure delivery safe and avoid the use of plastic caps.

Are the packaging materials recyclable?

In our packaging we use recyclable low-density polyethylene bags. Some packages have recycling instructions printed on them.

Are Shibumi's packaging materials sustainable?

We know that sustainable packaging is important to our customers, and we are committed to finding the most sustainable solutions we can.

As our first step towards achieving more environmentally friendly packaging, recently We have started using bags made from post-consumer recycled plastic for all clothing orders shipped from our centers. The percentage of recycled plastic per bag depends on each center, but is at least 50% in the outer packaging (white or gray) and at least 30% in the inner bags (transparent) used in multi-item shipments.

PCR packaging protects products just as well as virgin plastic bags and is about the same. However, choosing PCR plastic over virgin plastic is the right thing to do to minimize the environmental impact that plastic has on our planet.

We continually work to be more sustainable, and will continue to explore more sustainable packaging options in the future. Meanwhile our efforts at Shibumi in terms of sustainability are immense.
